MIRUNSKI, Barbara Mirunski  - September 8, 1938 – February 7, 2021

35 year employee,  Croven Crystals After complications from a fall at home, Barb died in Oshawa’s Lakeridge Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Jenny Urbankiewicz and son, Andrew.

Leaving  behind daughters Denise and Susan (Geoff Pare) and son Paul (Thel); siblings Irene Lubowitz, Virginia Mair, Walter (Annmarie), Lester (Jane Kettles) and Ed (Cathy); and granddaughters Zoe and Alana Pare and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barb was born in Kawek, Poland coming to Canada with her family at age 10.

Besides being the eldest, she was the first to leave the farm, marry, have kids and divorce.

Not a trendsetter but certainly a risk taker with decided  opinions that she later in life had no hesitancy in expressing.

Sibling gatherings  were a highlight as each retired and could join around the table.

“I'll miss our sibling lunches.  Sorry about that kids.  We'll always have Lakeview.”

In accordance with Barb's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held when it is safe to do so.

While Barb supported many causes, please feel free to donate to the charity of your choice.
