STEVENSON, Marjorie Iva (nee Smith) - Passed away peacefully in Oshawa on Sunday February 28, 2021 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Clifford (married 60 years).
Dear mother of Arlie (John Rayson) of Whitby and John Stevenson of Victoria.
Much loved Nana of Laura, Brianna and Mark. Dear sister of Phyllis Hermann (late Doc).
Predeceased by brothers Elgin (Grace), Caldwell (Pam) and Murray (Sharon surviving).
Predeceased by brothers-in-law Duncan (Orleta), George and sister-in-law Ruby Caron (Moe).
Born at Campbell’s Bay Quebec, Marjorie studied nursing at St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Toronto. Specializing in obstetrics, she was a Registered Nurse for a number of years working in Jersey City, Rochester and Albany N.Y. and Cornwall, Ontario.
Marjorie was an active member of her church all her life.
Being of a very caring and generous disposition, she always put others before herself.
She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
A service in celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at a future date.
