MORPHY, Mary Alfreda - September 28th, 1922 - February 26th, 2021
Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021, at her home in Bowmanville, at the at age of 98.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Vale. Loving mother of Louise Pennington (Gary) and the late Barry Morphy (Daisy).
Cherished grandmother of Douglas (Trudy), Ronald (Tracy), Stephen (Libby), Thomas (Lisa), Rodney (Susan), Glen (Julie) and Tracy (Rob) and great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of 5.
Dear sister of Hazel, Anne, Max (Shirley) and Beulah.
Mary will be sadly missed by her devoted friend Kimberly Harrison and family.
Mary met the love of her life, Vale, during WWII in Newfoundland.
They fell in love and moved to Scarborough where they raised their 2 children.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 2-5 p.m., at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). Registration is required to attend the visitation. Please use the RSVP tab or call 905-433-4711 to register. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 in the Chapel. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
