SUDSBURY, Donald Alvie - Don grew up in PEI and always stayed true to his roots. A true east coaster with a heart of gold and the most easy going personality.

As a family member stated: Truly the biggest limb on the family tree has left behind strong loving roots.

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Alvie Sudsbury announces his passing on Friday March 5th, 2021.

“Big Don” will be lovingly remembered by his four boys Donnie (Michelle), Scott (Jane), Brian (Judy) and Michael (Caley).

Don will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren Nicole (John), Amanda (Jay), Bryan (Meagan) Geoffery (Elizabeth), his six great-grandchildren Kaden, Keira, Konor, Gabriel, Deegan & Luna, his brother Gerald and sister Carolyn.  Don is predeceased by his wife JoAnn, brother Austin and sister Elaine.

Anyone who knew “Big Don” knew he was a “man of few," a man of greatness who would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it, family or not.

Nothing brought a bigger smile to Don’s face than having his home filled with family and the laughter of all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don is joining his wife of 64 years JoAnn Sudsbury where they can watch over their entire family together with big smiles on their faces. Together again, always & forever.

A Private Family Service will be held.  A Celebration of both Don & JoAnn’s lives will be held when it is safe to do so.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations be made The Alzheimer Society.
