ARMSTRONG, Glenn William - It is with heavy hearts, the family of Glenn William Armstrong is announcing his peaceful passing at the age of 84 on Sunday March 7, 2021 after a long strong battle of C.O.P.D.

He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Glenn leaves behind his beloved wife Judy of 56 years. He was a devoted father to Penny (deceased) son-in-law Steve, Shawn (deceased) and daughter Tracey (Mike).

He was also a devoted grandfather to: Rick (Tara), Sherri, Rob (Lillian), Bobbi-Lynn, Michelle (Lee), Ashleigh and Brooke and cherished his many great grandchildren: Joshua, Chloe, Avalon, Benjamin, Brianna and Olivia. He also leaves behind is brother-in-law Harry (Doris, deceased).

Glenn was predeceased by his sister Marilyn and brother-in-law Fred and his mother Dorothy.

Having a large family, Glen always held all members including his many nieces and nephews, close to his heart.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital, 4th floor staff, for their dedication, kindness and care during Glenn’s stay and during this Covid19 pandemic.

A special mention goes out to Dad’s PSW Leighton, who over the last year has given Dad exceptional care and always made him feel at peace with his disability.

At this time, due to Covid-19 limitations, there will be no service for Glenn. Hopefully, in the summer when the weather warms up we will be able to have a celebration of Life.
