OBAL, Marija - February 20th, 1929 - March 19th, 2021
Passed away on March 19th, 2021 following a difficult illness with her daughter by her side.
Born in Petanjci Slovenia on February 20th, 1929. Daughter of the late Anton and Terezija Pecic.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Matija also predeceased by her loving son Matija (Mathew).
She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her daughter Kristina and her husband David Chalker.
Dear mother-in-law of Zdenka Obal.
Fondly and forever missed by her granddaughter Melissa and her husband Jonathan Bell and great Gramma to Miller and Madison of Hermosillo, Mexico.
Cherished Gramma of Erik Obal and his wife Kelly, their children Liam, Charlotte and Samantha and granddaughter Tanya, husband Marian Kosara and their children Niko and Oliver.
Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Wednesday March 24th, from 11:30 to 12:30. Please register for visitation through the Barnes website using the RSVP service.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 130 Watford Street Brooklin on Wednesday afternoon at 1: 00 pm. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
