We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved mother Marion Elizabeth Sayeau (nee: Harrington) went home to Jesus on March 24, 2021 at the age of 86.

Marion was born March 31, 1934 in Iroquois, Ontario.

Predeceased by her husband, Willis Clifford Sayeau.

Loving mother of Marion’s boys: Steven (Christine), Brian (Tammy), Michael (Lena) and Carl. Grandmother to Carrie, Brent, Zachary, Selina, Peter, Lydia and Rachael and Great-Grandmother to Sheridan, Grayson, Hudson and Bennett.

Marion and her family moved from Iroquois to Oshawa in 1953 and then to Mitchell’s Corners, Ontario in 1959 where they built the home she resided in for the rest of her life.

Besides raising her family, Marion volunteered her spare time between her church and community.

In addition to being a dedicated wife and loving mother, throughout her entire life Marion also held an unwavering faith in God and loved to share her faith with those who surrounded her.

Her favourite times were spent teaching Bible studies to the children and adults at King Street Pentecostal Church, Zion United Church, Mitchells Corners School and in her home.

Marion joins her husband, Willis, her parents, Edgar Alfred and Elsie Harrington (nee: Chase) and her brothers, Carl and Howard Harrington and two brothers from infancy in Heaven.  Due to COVID, there will be no visitation.

A private funeral with immediate family will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL on March 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and will be live streamed and can be viewed using the following link:  https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/26828  Interment at Zion Cemetery at a later date.
