RICH, Helen Joyce “Joy” (nee Somerville) - (November 3, 1925 – March 27, 2021)
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at The Village of Taunton Mills in Whitby in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of Claire Edison Rich “Ritchie” for 62 years.
Special aunt to Jil McClelland (Alewyn), Brenda Lynch (Gerry) and Randy Brown (Marilyn).
Joy will be missed by her extended family and friends.
Joy is predeceased by her parents Edith and Reg Somerville.
Survived by her sisters Mary Brown and Eleanor Raynor (Bill).
A very special thank you to Bonnie Pitawanakwat and Donna Kensy for their loving devotion and care of Joy for many years.
Thanks also to the amazing staff at The Village of Taunton Mills for their tender care of Joy.
Joy worked alongside Claire “Ritchie” for many years to develop their B & R Transport business in Whitby.
She enjoyed travelling, especially to England to visit family and special friends. She had a love for golfing, curling and backyard BBQ’s.
A private service to take place at a later date.
