SANCHEZ, Angel - Former Golf Cart mechanic.

Beloved best friend and soul mate of Gail Wideman (Galita)

Left to mourn his passing are beloved daughter Dania Millington, son in law Mark Atkins, special Abuelo to Zackary, Shelby and Daniella.

He was predeceased by son Danny (Nicki).

He will also be missed by his stepson and best friend, Dave Holmes (Fiona), brother Luis, sister in law Mercedes, niece Yamire (Phil), nephew Lazaro (Rodolpho), sister Teresita, nephew Alfred and nephew Ariel and several other relatives in Cuba.

He selflessly brought his family to Canada in in the mid sixties, to provide a better life for his children. He was instrumental in bringing other family members to Canada so they could enjoy all that Canada had to offer.

He mentored with love and respect, Randy Simpson, Paul Carson, Jim Lehman and Dave Holmes and it was obvious that continued to the end of his life.  He was writing orders as best he could and to-do lists for all of us to do after he passed.  We all have jobs to do. He also left a huge hole in the hearts of all the Britton clan.

He was a true legend and Angel to all of us. We were given a true gift, a special gift of watching and partaking in his final journey to heaven.

Thanks to his beloved daughter Dania for the compassionate care and love. We were all able to say our final goodbyes and watched his last breath. Dania, know how much that meant to all of us.  Know how much he loved you.

After Angie passed, we went outside and witnessed a falling star.  We knew that was a message that he was saying “don’t worry I made it.”

To all those who made his life easier and visited him this last year, played cards with him or did things for him, I salute you and know that he loved you.  Please have a shot of tequila ... salud!

Donations, by cheque, can be made in Angie’s memory to the Claremont Legion, 4937 Old Brock Road North, Claremont Ontario L1Y 1A6.
