DÉSILETS, Bruno - July 14, 1946 – April 8, 2021
It is with great sadness, we announce that Bruno Désilets passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 at the Bowmanville Hospital.
He was born on July 14, 1946 in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario.
He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Alice Désilets, brothers Remi (Cindy) and Raymond (Diane) and in-laws Jim and Jacqueline Clark. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Margaret, his sons Michael (Nella) and grandchildren Lauren, Ethan, Paige, Sienna and son Mark (Karen) and grandchildren Finn and Isla.
He is survived by his brothers Ivan (Janet), Donald (Beatrice), Denis, and sisters Diane (Norman), and Jo-Anne (Johanne) and numerous nephews and nieces.
He graduated from Lakehead University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
He was a very generous, caring person who loved his family dearly. He lived life to the fullest and ensured everyone around him did as well.
In 1994 Bruno and Marg moved to Southern Ontario living in London, Ajax, and eventually retiring in Newcastle’s Wilmot Creek community in 2010.
Bruno was very proud of his sons and grandkids’ accomplishments always being there to support and provide encouragement.

A special thank you to the nurses and doctors on the 2nd floor of the Bowmanville Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
