BEARE, Ivan John  -  Son of Fred and May Beare, died peacefully at his home on April 9, 2021 with his beloved wife of 66 years, Ann (nee Stalter) by his side.

Ivan retired from Hydro One in 1990 and had been growing vegetables in his gardens for friends and family ever since.

Predeceased by his brother, Garnet (survived by Shirley) of Palmerston, he leaves behind his sisters, Joyce (late Charles Rogers) of Ottawa, and Marian (late Murray Grove) of Port Perry, his sister-in-law Lynda Draper, and many nieces and nephews.

Keeping his memory close to their hearts are his much-loved daughters, Debra (Paul Harpley) and Ellen (Neil Drudge), his grandchildren of whom he was so proud, James Harpley (Lisa), Chris Drudge (Carrie), Janet Harpley Aco (Nick), Allison Bruns (Nathan), Bethany Kirkup (Dylan), and Devon Harpley (Leah), and his 6 great grandchildren, Levon, Natalie, Farley, Riley, Jack, Aiden, and 7th on the way.

Ivan/Dad/Grandad was saving up his hugs for when we could all hug safely again.  Please share a memory and a hug with a loved one.

Due to COVID-19 protocols there will be a private family service graveside at Erskine Cemetery, Pickering.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
