ELGAR, Sylvia Joan - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on April 20th, 2021, following a brief battle with cancer at the age of 64.
Sylvia was the cherished daughter of Arthur and Joan Elgar; loyal sister to Barbara (Ted), Vincent (Louise), Joy (Dave), and brother-in-law Mike; doting Aunt to Devon (Bryan), Michelle (Mike), Shannon (Kam), Greg (Ashlyn), Brittany, Paige, Jessica, Brandon (Jennifer) and Ryan; and Great-Aunt to Jackson, Nixon, Baker and Maclean. Sylvia was one-of-a-kind.
She was thoughtful and reliable, intelligent and generous, and above all, she adored her family. We will think of her often and will remember her always with love.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Sunday April 25th. In keeping with COVID-19 regulations attendance will be limited. Those wishing to attend must RSVP for a timeslot by calling the funeral home.
