TYCE, Gwyneth Kate (nee Gregory) - (November 4, 1926 – May 7, 2021)
Born in Swansea, Wales, Gwyneth spent her youth surviving WWII bombings and worked briefly as a window designer before meeting and marrying Peter Tyce when she was 25.
They emigrated to Canada in 1956 to make a better life for their growing family. She spent a great deal of her life devoted to children, be it her own, or volunteering with the Children’s Aid or taking care of foster babies.
She took the greatest joy in her 5 children, their families and her beloved sister Eileen.
Always an explorer, Gwyneth enjoyed the road untraveled.
She left on her last journey May 7, 2021, but we will remain forever inspired by her joy for life, curiosity and unforgettable smile.
Rest in Peace with love from your children, Anne (Ron), Michael (Lynne), Andrew (Dale), Kathryn, Nicholas (Susan).
Your Grandchildren, Renee (Jamie), Adrienne, Juliet (Garrett), Ryan (Val), Cara (John), Jocelyn (Nick), Drew, David, Taryn and your Great Grandchildren Lucas, Oscar, Theodore, Everly, Benjamin and Ophelia.
A family memorial will be held at a later date in Wiarton, Ontario.
