HOGARTH, Edith Christine (nee Rackham) - (December 3, 1921 – May 11, 2021)
Surrounded by the love of her family, Edith passed away peacefully on May 11, 2021 in her 100th year.
Beloved wife of the late Bruce Hogarth.
Predeceased by brothers, Doug (Flo) Rackham, and Reg (Eileen) Rackham, brother-in-law, Stuart (Beulah) Hogarth, sisters-in-law, Jean (Frank) Blunt, and Jessie (Spud) Wilcox.
Devoted and much loved mother to Clare Hogarth, Joanne Doble (Ron), and Kathy Kaiser.
Cherished grandma to Stuart Hogarth, Jeff Doble (Spring), Chris Doble (Kelly), Cory Kaiser, Stacy Beckett (Rich), and Jordan Kaiser (Tamra).
Proud great-grandma to Rylan, Audyn and Asher Doble, Jack and Carys Kaiser, Joshua Beckett, and Samantha Kaiser.
Edith was an active member of Pickering Village United Church, the Ajax-Pickering Hospital Auxiliary, and volunteered at the Auxiliary’s 4477 Shop for over 35 years.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the visitation and funeral service are private by invitation only through the family.
