KALBFLEISCH, John Harold (Jack) Kalbfleisch   - of Port Perry, in his 90th year, born in Kitchener Ontario, passed away on May 12, 2021.

His humble beginnings, his tenacious spirit: he was a self taught determined man whose work ethic was second to none.

He is predeceased by his parents Norman and Elizabeth Kalbfleisch, sister Phyllis and brother Norm (Wanda).

Of all his accomplishments, if you asked Jack what he was most proud of, it would be his family. His beloved wife of 65 years Patricia Kalbfleisch (nee Hertzberger), his cherished children John (Sharon), Mark (Colleen) and Kelly (Mark) and adored Papa to Jacqueline (Jay), Andrew (Brianna), Scott, Jessica (Jeff) and Liana (Jason). Great grandpa to Julia, Ryley, Jonas, Cole and Olivia and one soon to come addition.

Pat and family are so appreciative with the condolence messages and stories shared in emails, social media posts, cards and phone calls.  Also appreciative of the flowers, meals and waves from the Canterbury community from the front walk the last few days.

Virtual Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2p.m.  At some point, we will gather together to celebrate his life as he would have wished.

If desired, donations in memory of Jack may be made to Defeat Multiple System Atrophy Canada.

Jack left this Earth suddenly, swiftly and silently while sitting in his favorite chair watching golf with his little buddy Maggie. To know him was to love him and like everything he did in life he loved large.

He will be dearly missed by friends and family.
