ROBINSON, Robert Harvey Robinson  -

The Twinkle to our Stars!

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, Robert ‘Harvey’ Robinson on May 14, 2021.

Sherry-Lee & Ken, Shelley-Anne & Dan and Shawn & Karen would like you to know that our dad passed peacefully in his sleep.

Sick for a little bit, dad was able to enjoy many times with us, sharing childhood memories and special events in all our lives. Our dad was always a tease, loved a good joke and shared his passions with each and every one of us.

Dad taught us many life lessons…even if we didn’t like picking veggies in the garden on Saturday mornings.

His love for animals, gardening, horse racing, cattle showing, collecting coins, vintage cars and playing cards has definitely made a huge impact not only on us but also on his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family was very important to dad; and he was always up for any kind of family celebration- birthdays, holidays or ‘just because’- the more the merrier.  Dad enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren- Jason & Carrie-Lynn, Nicholas & Lindsay, Jeffrey & Yvonne, Kendall & Travis, Amanda & Kyle, James & Ashleigh, Justin & Anna. He had a huge impact on their lives taking a special interest in their careers and their lives.

All of the grandchildren loved that their papa was such a tease, quick with a smile and ALWAYs had a joke to share with them. Dad also leaves behind grandchildren Leanne, Ryan and Sadie who he loved but missed dearly. Dad will be sorely missed by the growing number of great grandchildren- Laura, Jordan, Anna-Lynn, Isabelle, Lexie, Tyler, Rhea, Carson, Charlotte, Ryker, Maci, Cole, Ella and more two babies on the way.

Dad had a very special sibling relationship with his sister, Viola and her husband Tenuis, who were with us when dad passed. It was amazing to see this love to the end.

Their bond was incredible and dad often spoke about his ‘Sis’ and his memories of growing up together. Dad always shared with us the ‘goings on’ of his nieces & husbands, Debbie (Scott), Susan (Rob) and Karen (Paul) and their families.

Family doesn’t need to be perfect….it just needs to be united.

Dad you will always be in our hearts; you have instilled in us the importance of family and how to support one another through joy, pain and everything in between.  Thank you to the Gord Morton Family.

If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Durham Hospice - Clarington.
