MacLEAN, Alexander - (May 17, 1923 - June 4, 2021)
Passed away peacefully on June 4, 2021 at the age of 98.
Loving husband to Gertrude of 22 years. Predeceased by his first wife Verna of 51 years.
Cherished father to Waneta Dennis (the late Max), Norma Green (Ray), Gale Philpott (Brian), Sherry Campbell (Scott, the late Brian) and Mark (Amy).
Adored Grampie to Amanda (Jan), Adam (Melanie), Melissa (Chris), Leslie, Lindsay (Mike), Matthew (Maria), Scott (Shannon), Zac (Kayla), Cole (Sarah), Joshua and Jake. Great Grampie to Paige, Brody, Gillian, Rosalie, Theodore, Sofia, Bryden, Axel, Dexter, Lexa, Aubree, Eli and Ryder.
He will also be missed by his large extended family and friends.
Alexander MacLean enjoyed a long and healthy life. Loving husband to Verna for 51 years until her passing and to Gertie for the past 22 years.
Alex was one of a kind, he was thoughtful, honest and open. We were lucky to have him in our lives and the world was a better place with him in it. Alex had an abundance of love for his family including his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alex will be missed and remembered by those whose lives he was a part of. He will be in our hearts forever.
