Pamplin DorisPAMPLIN, Doris Keith (nee White)  -  September 27th, 1925 - June 5th, 2021

Passed away peacefully on Saturday June 5th, 2021, at the age of 95.

Beloved mother of Robert Keith Pamplin (Marilyn) and Karen Pikoulas (Dino).

Cherished grandmother of Christine Pamplin and Douglas Pamplin (Melissa).

Adored great grandmother of Anthony, Eric, Matthew and Samatha.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Douglas Pamplin, her longtime companion Jim Hewitt and her sister Sybil Mines (Jack).

She remained close to many members of the Hewitt family both here and in England.

Doris was a most thoughtful, loyal and cherished friend by all that knew her. 

The dearest of which was with Alice Shields her of friend 86 years.

Doris had a generous spirit and was always full of empathy for everyone including endless charities and animal organizations. Her first concern was always for others before her own.

Doris was proud to serve during WWII in Ottawa as a Sargent. When the war ended, she returned to Toronto, married and raised her children.

She returned to work, and had a successful career with the Supreme Court of Ontario. She served as a clerk and later registrar in various courts for 27 years until her retirement.

Doris was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Toronto and St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Oshawa

A Celebration of Life will take place in the future, when it can be held in a manor to appropriately and truly, honour the wonderful and cherished person that Doris Pamplin was.
