IRELAND, Richard Ireland - It is with great sadness that the family of Richard David Ireland announces his passing at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital on Saturday June 12th, 2021 at the age of 66.
He is survived by his beloved Michele, his father Kenneth, brother Steve and sister Sue.
He will be remembered fondly by his nieces, cousins, many friends and work colleagues.
A devoted husband and son, Rick was kind, generous, thoughtful, caring and always put others needs ahead of his own.
Marrying later in life, Rick found his best friend and bride Michele who he considered the best thing to ever happen to him in his life.
They shared a lot together, had a great love between them and she will greatly miss him, his love and support.
Celebration of Life will be held in the future for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, Michele would appreciate donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation www.liver.ca to help others with liver disease.
