CAMPSALL, John James "Jim" - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Ross Memorial Hospital in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband to the late Gladys. Loving father to Dorothy (Patrick), Barbara (Dan), Bob (Maureen), Cinda (Joe) and Rick (Renta).
Devoted grandfather to his grandchildren Jackie (Greg), Peggy-Dale (Neil), Stephanie, Kenneth, Lynn, Robert, Jonathon (Brenda), Stacey, Corrie (Shawn), Jason, Bradley (Amanda), Nikala (Michael), John (Laura) and Shannon (Rod), also 28 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Jim is also survived by his sister Alice Stevenson. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and the Agricultural Community. Jim is predeceased by his parents John and Viola Campsall and his sisters Evelyn, Margaret and Wilma.
Jim was an active member in the Ayrshire and Ploughing Association, along with being involved in the tractor pulling and antique tractor association.
Jim followed his father footsteps as a dairy farmer in Uxbridge, along with being a truck driver for many years.
In 1988 he moved to Cannington where he continued dairy farming until he sold out in 2002, finishing his farming days as a cash cropper working the fields within days of his passing.
Cremation has taken place, and Jim will be laid to rest at the Uxbridge Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetic Association.
