JOHNSON, Frederick Ronald - (March 6, 1955 – June 13, 2021)
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Fred Johnson. This was an unexpected and tragic loss for the family.
Fred passed comfortably, with dignity surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Toronto Western Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Mona Johnson. Loving father to Sommer Warken and Hayley-Chanel Johnson.
Much loved dog dad to Riker the Bouvier and grandad to pups Bones the Whippet and Artie the Pudelpointer.
Family always came first for Fred and when Mona passed away in 2012, he put everything into supporting his two daughters.
Fred always had an eye for design and began his 40+ year visual merchandising career designing the window displays at Simpsons, then founding and co-owning Canadian Visual Solutions, and finally ending his career as the Managing Visual Director at Moores Clothing for Men.
In his spare time, he loved to swim in his backyard pool, listen to the Beatles, take a spin in his Porsche or spend time with his “pack” (a.k.a Sommer, Hayley-Chanel and Riker).
Fred will be deeply missed by his family and close friends. He will shine on in our hearts forever.
In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Fred’s ashes will be laid to rest with Mona at Resurrection Cemetery. Guests will be notified by invitation only for visitation and service.
