MILLER, Muriel May (nee Longhurst) – Peacefully on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton, at the age of 96.
Muriel, beloved wife of the late Norman Miller (2002).
Much loved Mom of Connie Miller, Shane Miller, June Dobbin (Derrick), the late Barb Miller and the late Frankie Miller.
Proud Nanny of Zachary Miller, Tanya Skeoch (Gord), Sheri Hartle (Jason), Adriane Miller, Caleb Payne, Anthony Miller and Jaclyn Wadden. Great Nanny of seven great grandchildren.
Muriel is predeceased by her parents Timothy and Helen Longhurst (nee Henderson), and her siblings Wilf Longhurst, Wild Merv Longhurst, Mervin Fowler and Bev Orlicky.
Dearly loved by numerous nieces and nephews, especially Carol Martell.
Muriel will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Private family funeral services at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , Oshawa.
Cremation, followed by interment with her late husband in Thornton Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Durham Children’s Aid Society would be honouring Muriel and greatly appreciated by her family.
