ZYLKA, Jadwiga (nee: Czarnecki) - January 1st, 1925 - Wednesday, June 16th, 2021
Passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Wawel Villa in Mississauga at the age of 96.
Born in Buśno Poland on January 1, 1925, Jadwiga was the beloved wife of the late Konstanty Zylka, and the loving Mother of the late Tony (Zbigniew) Zylka.
Dear sister in law of Blanche Zylka and the late Leo Zylka.
She is survived by many dear nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, both in Canada and Poland.
She was a marvelous cook, preparing delicious Polish dishes for her family.
Jadwiga will be remembered for her unique character and her sense of humor.
Private family visitation and funeral services were held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME in Oshawa, officiated by Klemens Dąbrowski of St. Hedwig’s Church.
Interment with her late husband at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
Masses to be said at St. Hedwig’s Church would be greatly appreciated by Jadwiga’s family.
