McEWEN, Lorraine Edna (nee Smith) - It is with our deepest sorrow that we have to announce the passing of Lorraine McEwen on June 18, 2021 in her 86th year.
Predeceased by her husband Donald Russell McEwen.
She was loved so very much by her heartbroken daughters, Karen Berry, Linda Hart, and Suzanne Punkari and her son-in-laws Gary Hart and Ian Miller.
Grandma Lori will also be deeply missed by Ashley, Deanna, David, Robert, Graham, Cole and Lennon.
Lorraine was blessed to have four great grandchildren with a fifth on the way.
She was kind, thoughtful, generous, and a beautiful person.
She always supported her kids, through good times and bad.
Mom was always the one steady, constant force that grounded us in our crazy adult lives. She was so appreciative of time spent together with her family.
After family dinner she would always call to say what a lovely time she had and how much she loved spending time with the people she loved.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Thank you, Mom, for everything.
Our broken hearts may mend but our love and yearning to see you will be forever.
