BROWN, Davine Easter  -  Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday June 18th, 2021, at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of the late Nelson for 59 years.

Loving mother of David (Barb) Brown, Donna (Mark) Twardowski, Judy (Chris) Phillips.

Devoted Grandma to Amanda (Steve) Kellett, Sarah (Eric) St. Pierre, Deanna Brown (Drew Christie), Stephanie Twardowski, Cassandra Twardowski (Matt Marner), Kaylin Twardowski (Will McIntyre) and Bryan Phillips.

Also a devoted Great Grandma to Margaret and Agnes. Predeceased by her parents Agnes and David Kemlo.

Davine was a strong woman and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She graduated from Toronto Teachers College and taught for a few years before leaving to raise her family.

She enjoyed reading, knitting and a competitive game of euchre or scrabble. She loved watching old movies and was immersed in the history of old Hollywood.

She cheered on her and Nelson’s favourite teams the Oshawa Generals and the Toronto Maple Leafs and baked their famous tarts and apple pies for our many cherished family gatherings.

A private family service will be held.

A special thank you to Dr. David & Debra James and Dr. Forrester, the Lakeridge Health Oshawa medical staff and the PSW’s who cared for her in her home.

If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
