HENTON, Barbara Jean Margaret (nee Taggart) - June 21, 1963 – June 23, 2021
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Barb after a short battle with cancer.
Beloved by her husband Mike, Barb was loved by all who knew her.
Always happy and upbeat, she was there to help everyone in any way she could. She was everybody’s caregiver.
Barb loved baking, and we all looked forward to her Christmas goodies and birthday treats.
She had a great sense of humour, and was known for her jokes and pranks.
She was strong willed and always stood up for what she believed in.
Her love of Mickey Mouse was well known, and she had quite a collection of Mickey items.
Barb is survived by her husband Mike Henton, sisters Maureen (Bud), Kathy (Dave), Charlene; brothers- in-law Larry (Marg), Darcy (Debbie), and Gerry (predeceased by Mike’s sister Joanne), as well as nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her mother and father Joyce and Jack Taggart, her sister Colleen (Dave), her mother and father in law Esther and Frank Henton.
Barb has gone to live with the angels, and is no doubt wearing a favourite Mickey T-shirt.
A memorial for Barb will be held at a later date.
