REYNOLDS, Dorothy Vivian   -  With full hearts and gratitude for the time we had with Dorothy Vivian Reynolds, (nee Hall), we notify family and friends of her passing on June 24, 2021, in her 91st year of life.

Born in Leamington Ontario and resident of Toronto Ontario for over 80 years Dorothy was a devoted daughter to deceased Mother Nora Hall, (nee Read).

Loving sister to Shirley, Pat, Gary, (wife Gloria) and Alan, (wife Pat), Joyce, Betty, and predeceased sister Sylvia and brothers Norm and Doug.

Proud and loving Mother to Janice, (predeceased husband Allan), Donna, (husband Jim) Lee-Ann, (husband Frank) and Colin, (wife Barb). Nurturing Nanny to Amanda, Heather, (husband Kyle), Andrew, Alex, Lauren and Grandma to James, (wife Joanna), Jacob, (wife Lisa) and Joseph. Great Grandma to Harrison, Vivienne, Jason, and Jackson.

Auntie Dot/ Aunt Dorothy to all her nieces and nephews, Jim, Steve, Ken, Carolyn, Robert, Doug, Lorie, Jason, Christopher, Lisa, Jay, Debbie, Ken, Michael, Kevin, Carrie-Lynn, Joanne, Rob, Penny, Kelly, Karrie, Suzanne, Jody, Tim and predeceased nieces, Barb, (husband, Gerry), Dianne, (husband Mike), and nephew Danny (wife Donna).

Dorothy enjoyed being part of their lives and seeing all the children of her nieces and nephews as they created families of their own. 

As the matriarch of the family, Dorothy valued family, friends and service to others and her community.  A close friend to Paul, Una, Marion, and former sister-in-laws Sandra and Dianne, (husband Brian).

Dorothy enjoyed her many memories and friendship made during her 28 year career at Bell Canada, through her Roseland group and Greensborough Community Church. 

Foster Mother to over twenty children, Dorothy was a loving and caring women that provided a solid foundation for individuals prior to their adoption and was always willing to help friends and family by providing care during illnesses, support during tough times and celebrating life’s milestones.With family by her side, as in life, Dorothy passed away peacefully with love surrounding her. 

Sincere thanks for the excellent care provided by Dr. Kennedy (Toronto), and Dr. Cecutti (Whitby), Dorothy’s family physicians as well as Dr. Niglas (Lakeridge Health Oshawa), Dr. Azi (Lakeridge Health Oshawa) and Dr. Russell (Oak Ridges).

Sincere gratitude for the incredible support and compassionate care provided to Dorothy and her family by the entire staff and volunteers at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. 

A celebration of Dorothy’s life will take place at a later date when all that loved her can gather safely to honour this amazing women that led her life with dignity, grace, laughter and love.
