BRYANT, Janet "Jan" Dianne Bryant   - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Janet “Jan” Dianne Bryant after a courageous battle at the age of 77 on June 27th, 2021.

Beloved mother to Scott, Mark and the family cat, George.

Predeceased by her father Cy Leonard and mother Margaret Read.

Jan will be dearly missed by her brother Gary Leonard (Linda), niece Tyla Coish (Arad) and nephew JR Leonard.

She will also be forever missed by her lifelong friends Peter and Jane McDonough, and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Jan was an outstanding teacher and finished her career teaching special needs children.

Helping special needs children were her passion, and this came from a place of love and personal experience, as she devoted her life caring for the needs of her autistic son, Mark.

Jan was a happy and positive person. Smiling and laughing often, as well as always putting others before herself.

Friends and family describe her as genuine, smart, vibrant, funny, caring, inspiring, great mother, a joy to be around, and one in a million.

She believed that being a good person was everything in life and she lived this by this guiding principle every day.  Her passing has left a big hole in our hearts that will be impossible to replace.

Our memories and love for her will live on forever.

We love you mom and dearest friend, you will be greatly missed.

In memory of Jan, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
