DSA EthanD'SA, Ethan Joseph - (2004 - 2021) - A wonderful young man, full of life, smiles, and a natural ability to touch the hearts of all who knew him.

It breaks our hearts that at the age of 17, his life ended abruptly from a tragic event on July 2, 2021.

A cherished son, Ethan was born in Brampton, Ontario to parents Michael and Lisa D’Sa. Loving brother to his sister Adrianna.

Proud grandson of Catherine and the late Hilary D’Sa, and Judith and the late Dennis Baragar.

Admired nephew, cousin, boyfriend of Makath, teammate, and dear friend to countless people.

Ethan moved to Oshawa, Ontario at the young age of four. His passion for athletics was demonstrated through playing various sports, including softball, badminton, volleyball, lawn bowling, archery, and five-pin bowling. As the star pitcher, his softball team won the league championship.

Ethan earned the Ontario Youth Lawn Bowler-of-the-Year award, three years in a row, for his outstanding tournament play. And, representing the province of Ontario, he won a national gold medal in five-pin bowling. There are many other accolades in his sports resume.

As an outdoors man, he loved animals, biking, hiking, canoeing, swimming, and camping. While seeking adventure, he explored white-water rafting, horseback riding, skateboarding, and ATV riding.

As an avid online gamer, Ethan could be found playing with friends from various countries and communicating through endless gaming sessions.

Ethan was a high achiever in everything he put his mind to. Winning numerous academic awards including the Principal’s honour roll, he aspired to become an Engineer. He could be found using his ingenuity to creatively find solutions and make things efficient.

Ethan will be remembered for living each day to the fullest, in a simple, humble way.

A private funeral service with immediate family will be held at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). Burial to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

If desired, donations to the Kids Help Phone (kidshelpphone.ca) would be appreciated.

Online condolences can be shared at makfuneralhome.com. For funeral service details, please refer to the funeral home's website for the ZOOM link.
