MUNRO, Ronald Eric (B.A. B.ED.)  -  October 29th, 1931 - July 7th, 2021 

Ron passed away at home on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 in his 90th year.

Born in Port Hope, Ontario.

He was the beloved husband of Hazel May for 68 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Edith Hall and Eric Munro, sisters Jean, Marguerite, Bonnie and brother Peter.  Cherished Dad of Arlene (Douglas), Jennifer (Glen), Sheila, deceased (Roger) and Janice (Adam).

Proud Grandpa of Elizabeth (Paul), Caitlin, Samuel, Michael, Austin, Eileen and Great-Grandpa of Emerson. He enjoyed the company of extended family members.

Ron started his teaching career as principal in one-room schools in Silent Valley Bewdley, Pontypool, Newtonville, then Newcastle Public, M.J Hobbs Sr. Public Hampton, and Central Public Bowmanville for a total of 36 years.

A Celebration of Life to take place at a later date.

Ron we treasure the memories and hold dear the time we had together. We’ll all remember those times for the rest of our lives.
