DeVOUGE, Jean Lois DeVouge  -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Lois DeVouge (nee Creighton), on July 18, 2021.

Born to parents Lester and Olive Creighton on March 2, 1942 in Bancroft, Ontario.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Leslie DeVouge, of 61 years.

Always a caring and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her three children Wanda (Wayne), Sandra and Norma (Cameron); her grandchildren Jacqueline (Kaitlin), Amanda (David), Cameron (Yolli), Brittney and Christopher; and her great-grandchildren Sadie, Jackson, Jasper, Corinne and Harper.

She is predeceased by her siblings Arnold, Evelyn, Patricia, Norma and Norman.

She leaves behind and will fondly be remembered by her sisters Freida, Betty, Phyllis, Linda and Carol, her brother Bob, and her large extended family, near and far. “Little Jean”, as she was commonly known to her family, was tough and courageous, enjoyed old movies, took much pride in her flower gardens, doted on her pups, and could beat the pants off anyone in a game of cards.

“Gran”, when we pick our next bouquet, skip our next stone, or search for a shooting star, we will certainly be thinking of you and your infectious smile. You will be missed more than you know.

At this time, the family will be grieving privately.

There will be a graveside service in her hometown in the fall.
