SALAZAR, Katherine Ann Salazar - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine Ann (Chamberlain) Salazar of Oshawa, Ontario on the morning of July 25, 2021.
Kathy was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa.
Thank you to the incredible nurses (Carrie, Stephanie, Paul, and others) from the Supportive Care team.
Kathy, our mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, will forever be one of the strongest and kindest women to ever walk this earth and we are blessed to have had her in our lives.
She was our most recent matriarch and we lost her too soon. In 1974, Kathy met her love, Jose, and together they went on to have Paul (Lori).
Kathy was a wonderful and loving mother who gave everything to her family.
She was also the mother of Claudia (Jorge), Monica (Shannon), and Susan. Her absence will remain unfilled but her warmth lives on in all of us. Kathy was predeceased by her father (Gordon) and mother (Jeannette) - her best friend.
She is survived by her siblings, Ed (Milly), Guy (Susanna), Ron (Brenda), her grandchildren, Gabriel, Salvador, Andrew, Andres, Jacob, Mirra, Lucy, Sebastian, and Luca, her niece and nephews as well, Nathan, Tara, Josh, Jordan, and Mitchell.
