Hart MarionHART, Marion Thelma Hart (Baxter, Alpin)    - September 27, 1926 - July 24, 2021

Peacefully at her home, with her daughters by her side, Marion has been reunited with her son Tom (1978) and beloved husband Bob.

After 67 phenomenal years of marriage, this past year was so difficult for her without him.

We know she is at peace to once again be by his side.

She also joins her first husband , Jack Alpin who passed only a year into their marriage in 1952.

Her loving ways and generosity will be greatly missed by her daughters Kathy (Jack Brigden), Oshawa, Barbara-Ann (Colin White) Naperville Il, granddaughters Elisabeth White, Vancouver, Meredith White, Ottawa.

A long time resident of Oshawa, she was awarded the Pannie Hislop award upon graduating grade 8 from Center Street Public School. On to OCVI then to General Motors to support the war effort.

She continued her career as a wonderful mother while supporting her husband in the running of their own business, York Sales Agency. Her love of socializing and never hesitating to take on a challenge endeared her to many.

She so enjoyed playing bridge. As a member of the Oshawa Golf Club, playing with the “Ladies Rebel” group was so important to her.

Thanks to all for always including her in your activities long after her golfing days were over. Her love of the Casino and all the winnings they provided gave her and Bob many days of enjoyment.

They never missed a freebie. Marion will be greatly missed but leaves this earth having lived a very full and loving life.

A family graveside service is planned for the near future.  Details for a celebration of life to follow.
