LEGGETT, Donald Edward - January 23rd, 1951 - July 25th, 2021
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Edward Leggett on Sunday July 25, 2021 at Extendicare Oshawa thankfully not Covid related at the age of 70.
Donald is pre deceased by his father Donald and brother John.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Dorothy, and his siblings Dennis (Barb) Laura (Jim) and James.
Also missed by many nieces and nephews and all the staff and residents at Extendicare.
Donald was so special and simply a treasure to all who knew and loved him.
He is fondly remembered as always smiling and had the kindest heart. He brought so much joy to so many.
A very big thank you to Dr. Fareeha Nasarullah and all the staff at Extendicare Oshawa who took exceptional care of Donald for many years. Especially during covid, and throughout his declining health and final days.
We could not be more grateful!
A private family visitation will take place at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East. Friends are welcome to join the family at Oshawa Union Cemetery (King Street & Thornton Road) for a graveside service on Wednesday July 28th at 1:45pm.
