VANN, Doris Alice - We are very sad to tell you that Doris Vann (née Sheridan) passed away Tuesday, July 27 in her 99th year.
Doris had a very active and eventful life and enjoyed singing with The Troubadours and other groups in Oshawa.
She was also an avid roller skater, bowler, walker and golfer.
She had a song or an old Scottish saying for every occasion and will be remembered by relatives and friends as a remarkable woman and a great dame.
Preceded by her husband Doug Vann, Doris is survived by her daughter Pat, sons Thom and Bill, grandchildren Barbara, Jennifer, Shawn, Tiffany and great grandson Connor.
Funeral arrangements with the Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. COVID-19 protocol will be followed.
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Gertrude's Church, Oshawa.
