VAUGHAN, Barbara Jean - (February 8th, 1939 - July 30th, 2021)
Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday July 30th, 2021 at the age of 82.
Predeceased by her husband Gary Edward Vaughan.
Loving mother of Tracy and her husband Edward Greig of Brooklin and Rob Vaughan of Oshawa.
Barb dedicated her life to her family and was truly the heart of home.
She inspired her daughter to reach for the stars and provided a loving and stable home for her son to flourish and grow.
Co-initiator of Thornton Dundee Park, a volunteer, artist, golfer, a baseball coach, a racket ball player and water skier, Barb was an involved and active person throughout her life.
Her commitment and compassion will be missed by all who knew her
Family funeral service will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby on Tuesday August 3rd at 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m..In memory of Barbara, memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Care) or Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre, Brooklin.
