PAYNE, Brian - (June 10, 1938 - August 2, 2021)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather Brian Payne.
Brian was born in Kendal, England to his mother Ada and father James. Brian grew up in Barrow in Furness where after his education years began working for the Northwest Electricity Board .
In 1962 Brian married the love of his life Joan and they quickly settled down and began their family, son Jonathan came along in 1963 followed by daughter Alison in 1966.
Shortly after Alison was born the family moved into a new home that had been designed by Brian and Joan as their dream home.
As life moved on along came grandchildren Sarah, Dylan, Erin, Caitlin and Fred.
Brian retired from Ontario Hydro in 1998 and settled into the retired life of watching grandchildren, the occasional game of golf, cooking and travelling to numerous places throughout the world.
Brian will be always be remembered for his sharp wit, love of music and family first attitude will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the Visitation and Service will be private by invitation only through the family, on Friday August 6, 2021.
