KURIJ, Iwan “John” - February 22nd, 1925 - August 8th, 2021
Passed away peacefully at the age of 96, on Sunday August 8th, 2021 at Grey Bruce Health Sciences, Owen Sound.
Beloved husband of the late Romana Jeanette Kurij (2004).
Adored father of Nancy Blake and the late John.
Cherished Grandfather of Anastasia Blake (Darin Lemieux), Rebecca Blake and Tanya Kurij.
Great Grandfather of Oriana and Aurora Lemieux.
Survived by his daughter in law Anna Kurij.
John lived his life with his cup half full.
He was a friend to all that knew him and he had a smile for everyone he met along his journey.
Friends are welcome to join the family at the visitation on Saturday August 14th from 11am to 12pm at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The Service will follow at 12 noon, at the Church, and then the interment service at Union Cemetery.
