COUCH, Wallace Wilfred Sterling - It is with great sadness the family of Wallace Couch announces his passing on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital in his 90th year.
Wallace was the cherished and beloved husband to Ruth Couch (nee Garrod) for 64 years.
Wallace has now joined his son Bradley in Heaven. Loved father to Tom (Rose) Couch and Wendy (Sheila Pethick) Couch.
Grampa to Christa (Brian), Bradley (Cindy), Andrew (Ashley) and Justin (Becky). Papa to Nicholas, Sophia, Abby, Spencer, Lawson and Joey.
Wallace will be deeply missed by his sister Betty (Art) and sister-in-law Jack (Seird).
Wallace was the pillar of his family. He was deeply committed to them and his love for them will continue through this loss.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Bond Head Cemetery, on Queen Victoria Street, Newcastle, Ontario on Saturday, August 14th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Durham Hospice or the Humane Society of Durham Region.
