Boyd HughBOYD, Hugh Pearson  (AKA “The Young Bull”)    -  June 1, 1927 – October 10, 2021

Peacefully passed away at his home in Oshawa, in his 95th year.

He was dedicated to and is survived by his loving wife Peggy (Margaret Fulton), along with his children Mike (”Boomer”), Sharon, Brian, Kirk (wife Laurie), Matt (wife Gaitree) and Nancy (husband Guy).

He will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Hugh is also survived by his partner in crime, his loving brother James(wife Agnes).

He was predeceased by his sisters Jean Brooks (Stan) and Margaret Gibson (Sam).

Before retiring, Hugh spent more than 50 years as an engineer in the Tool and Die Making business.

He had a lifetime passion for the trade, a passion he often shared with his friends and family.

Hugh had a generous heart and, while humble, touched many lives. His dry sense of humour was always on hand, even in difficult times. His family meant everything to him, and he was deeply proud of them all.

They will always be thankful for the gift of his life and the peacefullness of his passing.

A celebration of Hugh’s life is being planned for mid-November.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Autism Canada would be appreciated.

Arrangements entrusted to COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL .
