McLEISH, Marion Elva “Tommy” (nee Lyons) - 1921 – 2021 Marion passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Wednesday October 13 in her 100th year.
Predeceased by her husband Ted (2000) and her sister Doris, Marion is survived by her daughter Catherine (Dale Snoddon) and granddaughter Rebecca.
Marion grew up in Virginia, Ontario and went on to live in Toronto, Scarborough, and Beaverton.
She resided at Gillespie Gardens for the past 21 years where she enjoyed Bid Euchre, Bingo, and walking the halls.
Marion was an active volunteer (UCW, Lakeview Manor, Canadian Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels) in the Beaverton community since the early 1970s.
Special thanks go to Marion's friends and neighbours at Gillespie Gardens and the VON staff who supported her and allowed her to maintain her independence well into her 100th year.
As per Marion's wishes, cremation has taken place.
