ROMANO, Maria Clesiana - (May 28th, 1923 - October 13th, 2021)
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Maria Romano announces her passing on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Fairview Lodge, in her 99th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Serafino (1985).
Loving mother of Donato “Danny” and his wife Wanda.
Cherished nonna of John (Aili), Dawn-Marie (Ray), and Robert (Angela). Dear great-nonna of Stephanie, Justin, Breanna, Emily, Ashley, Brandon, Jhaelyn, Kaitlyn, and Seraphina and great-great-nonna of Ryder.
Maria will be sadly missed, yet fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Maria was the most devoted matriarch to her large family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, farming and cooking, especially her homemade tomato sauce, wine, and treats that everyone enjoyed.
She was a dedicated employee with Hillsdale and retired after over 30 years of service.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with Prayers at 3 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 18th at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church. Private Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
