DASARI, Sulochana Dasari    -  It is with both great sadness as well as a calm  assurance that we announce the passing and promotion to glory of Sulochana Dasari.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she passed on into eternity peacefully, surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital on the night of November 25th, 2021.

Born in Chennai India on May 9th, 1935, Sulochana was the youngest of 4 sisters to parents, David and Santoshamma Dasari.

By profession she was a nurse and worked in both Chennai and later, Doha, Qatar in the Middle East.  On June 10th, 1964, she married her husband Wilson Kasukurthy.

In 1979, they started a church-plant in Doha where to this day, a Telegu Church still meets and honours their founders.

Upon their retirement in 1999 Sulochana and Wilson came to Canada to be close to their children and grandchildren.  We give glory to God for the abundant life she lived, the many people she loved, and the testimony of her faith that stood firmly against the test of every trial she faced, even to the end.  Please join us as we honour Sulochana’s life and memory.

The family will receive guests at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax Ontario, on Tuesday November 30, 2021  from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with the burial to follow. COVID-19 Restrictions apply.
