Witteveen LynnWITTEVEEN, Lynn   -  With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lynn, who left us on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

After four years of suffering, she finally succumbed to her liver disease.

Lynn was a fighter to the very end.

Lynn leaves behind her devoted husband, Hank, and her loving son, Derek (Liesel).

Pre-deceased by her parents, William and Rowena, and her brother, Alton.

She leaves behind her sisters Doreen (Al) and Charlene, Lukie and Marliese (Chris).

She will be deeply missed by a large group of extended family and friends.

Lynn was a genuine, loving, caring person who loved camping, travelling, dancing and having a good time.

There was always a smile on her face.

She really loved her music; every song meant something to her.

Lynn was proud of her career as a civil servant, having worked for the Ministry of Finance for 33 years.

Many thanks to Dr. Vieira and all the nurses at Lakeridge Health (Oshawa) for looking after her in her final days and keeping her comfortable.

There will be no visitation at this time, but a Celebration of Life is planned for the spring of 2022.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
