SAVERY, Kenneth Elgin - August 10, 1928 - December 30, 2021
Passed away on December 30, 2021.
Survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathleen June, their three children Cheryl, Doug and Carol, as well as his seven grandchildren, Heather, Patricia, Tyler, Jason, Brenna, Jordan and Ryan and his five great grand children, Korrah, Lexi, Merisa, Spenser and Juniper.
Predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Lola (nee Welsh) Savery and brother Jim.
Elgin led an active life.
He worked for over 30 years as an engineer at General Motors.
However, his great passion in life was golf. For many years, he was the driving force running golf leagues both at Dalewood near Cobourg and near their winter home in North Port, Florida.
As per his final request, he has been cremated and there will be no service at this time.
A celebration of life will be arranged in the spring.
