Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, January 7th, 2022.

James Sully (Jim) of Oshawa, was in his 87th year.

Jim will be forever loved and missed by his wife Anna of 62 years, his children Bill Sully (Lynda), Bruce Sully (Barb), Carolyn Tsai (John) and Jim Sully (Kim) and his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew, Samantha, Alexander and Shannon and step grandchildren Brandon and Liza (Mark).

Jim spent most of his life in Oshawa until he moved to Port Hope in 2014.

He studied Business Administration at Ryerson and started his career at Warner’s Aluminum where he met his wife Anna Munroe.

He moved on to General Printers in October of 1958 and then ended his career as a Cost Accountant at General Motors from February of 1965 until June of 1991.

In addition to his love of family, Jim also loved the outdoors and doing carpentry work.

He cherished his time spent at the cottage he built on Crystal Lake, water skiing, boating, playing games and fishing.

He built a summer home in Nova Scotia where he enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews, golfing, riding his ATV, fishing, berry picking and exploring the beaches of Guysborough County.

At his winter home in Englewood, Florida Jim spent much of his time golfing, helping out at the community centre, visiting with friends in the park and taking his family sight seeing.

A commemoration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
