Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Tuesday January 11th, 2022 at Carriage House.
Toni Blakolmer, in her 100th year was the beloved wife of the late Karl (2002).
Adored mother and matriarch of Hildegard, Traudi (deceased 1944), Marianne (deceased 2020)(Lorne), Karl (Marilynn), Irma (Joe) and Margaret (Sandy).
Grandmother of Judy Anne (John), Lorne (Tara-Lee), Mark (deceased 1988), Darrin (Jennifer), Lori (Brent), Dana (Mark), Jodi (deceased 1982), David (Tammy), Diana, Deborah, Danny (Lynda) and Cody.
Great grandmother of 20 and great great grandmother of 3.
Toni immigrated to Canada from Austria in 1954. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a true friend to everyone. She was incredibly proud of her family and all of their accomplishments.
Antonia lived everyday to the fullest, keeping busy, helping others and sharing her kindness. The family would like to thank the caring staff at The Carriage House for their exceptional care and attention to our mother, and Dr. Seema Jain.
The family is planning a service to celebrate Antonia’s life, to be held later this year.
Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred with her husband Karl.
