GARDNER, Muriel Audrey (nee Thompson) - (October 9, 1919 – January 13, 2022)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and their spouses at Extendicare Oshawa.
Murial grew up in Timmins. Her Mother also lived to be past 100.
Preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her husband of 52 years, James (Jim) Gardner (Oct 1993).
Muriel is survived by their two children and their spouses, Cheryl and Wayne Lynde and Chuck and Lucy Gardner.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren (Dallyn, Rick, Perri, Steve, Treena, Sean and their spouses), 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and 3 more on the way.
She had a love for hockey, curling and knitting. Her deepest devotion was to her family.
Thank you Extendicare Oshawa. We love that you kept her safe through the pandemic and appreciate all that everyone did to care for her.
When someone you love becomes a memory, That memory becomes a Treasure.
A celebration of Muriel's life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted with OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME .
