SONLEY, Velma Florrie (Crawford) Sonley - January 10th, 1923 - January 21st, 2022
99 years of age, was born January 10, 1923.
She died peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 21, 2022.
She was the youngest and last of a family of 8.
Velma is predeceased by her husband George Henry Sonley (2000), son Lloyd Henry Sonley (1992), and her great granddaughter Emilia (2021).
Velma is survived by her son George (Anne), grandchildren Scott (Mirela), Kevin (Darlene) and Adam (Lindsay), and her great-grandchildren David, Grace, Cassidy and Miles.
In lieu of flowers donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Care), Heart & Stroke Foundation or a CHARITY of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Private Funeral Service will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Wednesday afternoon (January 26th)
Velma will be laid to rest beside her husband at GROVESIDE CEMETERY.
