Robb DorothyROBB, Dorothy “Helen”  -  Our dear Helen passed away peacefully in her 92nd year on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late William Robb (Barriefield Bill) of Kingston, Ontario for 59 years.

Loving mother of Mark and Leslie of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; David and Susan of Duncan, BC; and Chris and Luigia of Port Perry, Ontario.

Dearly remembered by her grandchildren: Meaghan, Jessica and Laura; Emily and Daniel; Alex and Adam.

Helen also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Frank and Agnes Palmer and caring sister of the late Catherine Palmer.

Helen was born in Oshawa and raised her family in Kingston, Ontario. She and Bill shared the vision and dedication for numerous civic projects including the Barriefield Rock Garden and the downtown Kingston Brock Street Murals. Together they traveled the world.

Helen was a devoted Catholic and served as a member of the CWL.

She also worked for over 25 years as a Sears employee. She was an avid artist who enjoyed painting oils and water colours.  Helen was deeply devoted to her three sons, and loved spending quality time playing checkers, crokinole, croquet, and badminton with her grandchildren.

She was the number one rinkside fan at her grandsons' hockey games.  Helen's longevity can be attributed to her faith, positive attitude, wit, and inner strength. She lived a life full of purpose, care and love, and will be missed greatly.

At Helen's request, a private family mass will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.  (https://alzheimer.ca/durham).

The family wishes to thank her son and loving caregiver, Chris, and all the supportive staff at Glen Hill Terrace, Whitby.
